Going to Equatorial Guinea and applying in person is probably your best bet. Importing someone in from abroad is an investment that most schools are not willing to make.

The best way to find a teaching job in a country like Equatorial Guinea is to show up and go around to the schools in person. Put a listing in the newspaper and on related message boards and websites saying that you’re looking for a job listing your qualifications, talk to people, find out where English is being taught and go there. Checking out the school and the employers in person is always the best way. Don’t fall for any pay to volunteer scams — you are a professional and should be able to find a job that pays decently. Also, look for schools that cater to the children of international oil workers/ business people, as these will probably pay the best.
