Travel Warnings for Slovenia
Slovenia is generally a safe country for travelers. Use common sense, especially when out at night in bars or discos, be aware of your surroundings, watch your stuff, and be politely cautious around new friends. As in many cultures, people can get more aggressive when drunk, don’t provoke them. In areas around Roma settlements, like the Krka river, there have been reports of petty thefts. Don’t tempt them by leaving appealing belongings (such as watches, cell phones, purses etc.) unguarded.
