Sea Shepherd Conservation Society
Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.

Earth First
Earth First Australia is a community based non-profit volunteer organisation
dedicated to the principals of Deep Ecology.

HelpX is an online listing of host organic farms, non-organic farms, farmstays, homestays, ranches, lodges, B&Bs, backpackers hostels and even sailing boats who invite volunteer helpers to stay with them short-term in exchange for food and accommodation.

WWOOF Australia
WWOOFers should expect to do 4 to 6 hours of farming /gardening work in exchange for a day’s food and board (depending on factors like season, workload, quality of their work and the accommodation, etc).
