I meet a Malaysian who’s selling old, thrown out t-shirts for a $1,000.
I was tipped off on a good story by DHL a few months ago, and I couldn’t resist. They told me that they had a client in a backwater stretch of Malaysia who was making good money selling old, donated or otherwise discarded t-shirts from Western countries back to people in the same Western countries as “vintage.” It made me wish I still had all of my old Snoop Doggy Dogg t-shirts.
Not really, I never had any Snoop Doggy Dogg t-shirts, but after doing this project I’m kicking myself in the ass that I didn’t.
The output of this project consisted of an article on DHL’s content hub (you can read it here) and also the below video that was published on my YouTube channel.
