There are many internet contest out there designed to encourage readers to sign up for this or that newsletter, to “like us” on Facebook, or to sell your soul away to the corporate devils of cyberspace. Their prizes are often really big and desirable — stuff like free vacations to a sunny beach paradise, $500 gift certificates, free books . . . on and on. We’re not going to do that here on Vagabond Journey. That just isn’t our style. Instead, for this contest the winner will receive “something weird from China.”
I don’t know what it’s going to be, but it’s sure to be something you’ll never expect to get in the mail from the Middle Kingdom. I can only guarantee you one thing in this contest: the winner will always remember their prize.
Entry into this contest is simple:
All you need to do is subscribe to VagabondJourney.com’s email newsletter through one of the opt-in forms at the top of the sidebar, below this post, or on our homepage. I will collect all of our new subscribers for one month between August 15th to September 15th, and the winner will be chosen at random. The prize, I assure you, will be something, well, interesting.
If you’re already subscribed to Vagabond Journey, you’re going to have to sit this contest out 🙁 But we’ll have another contest that everyone can participate in starting next week!
So, if you haven’t already, sign up for our daily newsletter (which includes all of our articles, tips, travel stories, as well as extra, subscriber-only content), and take a chance at winning something weird from China . . . if you dare.
