I took a month off from publishing on VagabondJourney.com to work on a book project, visit family, and move to China. It has been a month full of travel, criss-crossing countries, states, and the globe, but I’m now settled into an apartment in China. My internet was just hooked up today. It’s one of the oddest connections I’ve ever had (ethernet through a dialup connection???), but it works. I will pick up the travelogue from Cancun and continue from there. New entries will me more of the old school travel blogging type.  The book will be published in individual articles and will be available for download/ mail order as they are finished and will be compiled into book form once I have a heavy collection.

Welcome back to China – Wade.

I’ve been back a few weeks myself, now settled in an apartment with the same weird internet set-up with China Telecom – biggest problem so far is trying to get a VPN to work to get around the Great Firewall. What’s your plan with this …? I’d need to try a few VPN companies or settle for Freegate …
