Where to go and what to do.

Corpus Christi, the “birdiest” city in the US with more individual birds than any other American city (thanks to its large shallow bay), is also known as the “Bird City” of North America. This coastal city in the South of Texas is famous for its twinkling skylines, stunning bays, Padre Island, seafood, and mouthwatering BBQ.
Home to art, a diverse fauna, history, and great food, Corpus Christi has a little something for all ages and genders. To make the most of your family retreat, let’s kick off with some dos and don’ts of traveling to Corpus Christi with your loved ones.
Tips to making the most of your trip
Plan Ahead! This goes without saying but always make reservations well in advance whenever visiting a new place. Scout out sites and attractions you want to visit to choose your accommodations accordingly. This will also help you manage your finances better. Firefly Resort is a great option in this regard. They offer a wide range of RV sites in Corpus Christi for you to choose from.
Stay Flexible. Things don’t always go as planned. A loose itinerary that allows spontaneous detours and leaves room for local recommendations will ease off a lot of pressure.
Engage everyone—inclusivity is key! To avoid unhappy travel partners, engage everyone in the planning process and make sure to include lots of kid-friendly activities to keep spirits high.
Safety first! Make sure you have all your necessities (medication, paperwork, emergency supplies). Always have access to a travel-size first aid kit. If you plan to travel in your own vehicle, make sure it is in good shape.
