The Vagabond Journey.com T-Shirts are now printed and are ready to ship! There are only 100 of them, get yours soon or they may be gone (or I may be stuck with 10o choices of shirt to wear haha).

The t-shirts contain a woodblock print image designed and carved by Justin Catania. They were printed by hand by Justin on plain gray t-shirts (white clothing does not travel well) and come in s,m,l, and xl sizes — please specify what size you would like in the Paypal payment notes or send me an email.

These shirts would be perfect for your next journey, to give to someone else, to create scandal in the office (“What does Vagabond Journey mean? Is that politically correct?”) or to use as a rag to clean up your spilled beer.

The image on the shirt is a woodblock print, carved, inked, and rolled by hand, and is not screen printed.

“Woodblock printing is a technique for printing text, images or patterns used widely throughout East Asia and originating in China in antiquity as a method of printing on textiles and later paper. As a method of printing on cloth, the earliest surviving examples from China date to before 220, and from Egypt to the 4th century.[1] Ukiyo-e is the best known type of Japanese woodblock art print.”What is woodblock printing?

Selling these shirts will act as a fund raiser for Vagabond Journey.com to help boot the cost of the coming increase in operational expenses (to pay for a new server) and to help Justin start his new woodblock printing workshop. By acting as a team we hope that we can jump start both of our businesses with a little fundage.

Thank you, I really appreciate it,

Wade
