The above link goes to a page where excerpts from recent posts from all blogs on the network are consolidated onto a single page. This means that each new post from each individual blog on the system will be posted to this “community” blog, which allows readers easy access to all bloggers. When someone clicks on one of the links in the excerpts on this page, they will be taken to the post on the blogger’s individual blog.

Wade,
Whats your laptop situation now. I have a 1 yr old 14″ Toshiba with webcam, DVD burner, a 320 GB HD and 4 GB RAM. I am going to replace it for a lower size/weight “Slate” and have started using a iPod Touch handheld already, which has WiFi Internet. Since I can use my iPod Touch for Skype calls and Blog browsing, banking and such … do you need my laptop now (sin precio)? I will wait until more types of Slates reach market early in 2011, maybe even in the Christmas season this year. I’d get an Apple iPad now (sounds like a feminine hygiene product, huh?) but in Jan, I can get the next upgraded iPad model…so I will use my handheld and for now ditch the laptop.
I’m going to Guanajuato, MX in a week or so (waiting around farther north, either in the States or Northern Baja Calif – until my Mexican ID, the FM3 is issued – a local pickup is required). Then I’m figuring on going to Panajachel, Guatemala via San Cristobal. If you are still bereft Compu I’ll bring this laptop along to leave with you. Let me know, otherwise I won’t be carrying it along for you.
What does this laptop need? A Clean Install to remove my personal info and you’d have to do your own Install. A Recovery DVD was never included so you’d need a copy and a Keycode from someplace, possibly even buying the OS. The screen display has a volcanic dust crazing line but is unnoticeable when operational.
Write me back – this is my 2nd note and I am likely packing within a week to go someplace.
best,
– Chris
