Hi, my name is Detlef Heier; I am from Watamu. I got a big tattoo by Newton Omondi. Unfortunately I must say that starting with the stencil some things went wrong. He managed to get not even one line straight. Of the whole working time more than 20 hours were repair work. This meant for me 20 hours more pain. Then he managed to do soso, and I made the biggest mistake to pay the whole amount agreed upon. Only one session of a few hours was left. After several requests he told me finally after some months that he will not finish the tattoo since he “never finishes his tattoos, he abandons them”. And the money which I need now to get another inker to finish the tattoo, he will not refund. This means, that I have to walk around now with a big tattoo, not well made and have to look for another inker who will finish it. Therefore to all who want to have a tattoo: Look well at the artist, talk with him, is there enough trust. Check the cleanliness, his works and never pay the whole amount before the tattoo is finished! Because you will have the tattoo for your lifetime! Detlef Heier
