Bicycles are accepted as a piece of checked luggage, and incur no extra fee if it does not exceed the size and weight requirements. Baggage fees for children

Southwest offers infant and child fares for children. If the child is a ticketed passenger he or she receives his or her free checked baggage allowance. Additionally, one stroller and one car seat will be allowed per traveling child with no extra charge. These items may be checked or gate checked. If the child is a ticketed passenger or if there is an empty seat next to the parent, approved FAA child restraint seats may be carried on board without counting against the carry-on luggage allowment.
