Puerto Angel is a small town on the Pacific Ocean in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is a quiet fishing village. Most tourists only pass through here on their way to the more popular neighboring beaches of Zipolite and Mazunte. It is, however, worth a longer visit if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place by the water. The beach is located in a cove, so the water is calmer than in Zipolite. To reach Puerto Angel you will have to take a bus or minibus to Pochutla and then take a shared pick-up to Puerto Angel.
