Publication Schedule for Travel Blog

I’m going to try a weekly publication schedule for the Vagabond Journey Travel Blog. After 8 years of publishing this blog this is the first attempt that I’ve made at ordering the pace of publication in any way. We now have many people producing content for the site, many different topics, and a collection of featured series running. So everyone knows what to expect on any given day, I’ve introduced this new publication schedule:

Sunday

6 AM- Sunday travel story (subscribe). This is a new feature of VagabondJourney.com with the intention of delivering one longer length travel story every Sunday morning.

Monday

8:45 AM- Travel tip (subscribe)

Tuesday

8:45 AM- Travel technology/ New gadgets (subscribe)
12 noon- Random blog post or misc feature
7 PM- Travel photo or video of the day

Wednesday

8:45 AM- Senior Vagabond (subscribe)
12 noon- Random blog post or misc feature
7 PM- Travel photo or video of the day

Thursday

8:45 AM- Vagabond Cookbook (subscribe)
12 noon- Random blog post or misc feature
7 PM- Travel photo or video of the day

Friday

8:45 AM- Travel gear (subscribe)
12 noon- Random blog post or misc feature
7 PM- Travel photo or video of the day

Saturday

No publishing

The featured series in this schedule will change as the current ones finish up and new ones begin. The mid-day article will be the regular random-as-usual assortment of travel content that is prone to appearing on this blog. The photo/ video of the day is a hyper charged continuation of a previous series which I’m looking for a volunteer to handle (3 hrs per week, is anyone interested?).

This new schedule allows visitors to know when the content they like most is being published. Also, it is possible to subscribe to only the type of content that you want to receive publication notifications of on VagabondJourney.com — just click on the subscribe links for the features above or email me if for the feed link of another topic.
