Vagabond Journey Fundraiser T-shirts to Support Rising Costs
T-Shirts are now available for any person donating $15 to the world travels of Vagabond Journey.com! They feature woodblock prints done by the Brooklyn based artist, Justin Catania. The design is a writing quill superimposed over a compass, the shits come in grey only (better for traveling than white), and in sizes S,M,L, XL.
Selling these t-shirts will act as a fund raiser to meet the rising costs of publishing Vagabond Journey.com.
Rising cost #1 – Vagabond Journey.com has outgrown its hosting service and needs larger server space. We are getting too much traffic, which very good, but will require a host that can handle the rising amount of visitors. This is going to cost around ten times as much as I am currently paying for hosting.
Rising cost #2 – From my initial experiences of traveling with a family, it has become evident that it would be immensely helpful to be able to publish this website from a mobile device that can access the internet with international capabilities — such as a Blackberry. This will cost around $70 per month, but will save me from logging in hours in internet cafes that could otherwise be spent in proximity to my wife and baby. This is going to become an essential expense, as I know that I can not longer spend entire days away from my family on the internet.
For a donation of around $15, you can get a Vagabond Journey t-shirt as well as help support the site meet rising operational costs! To donate and buy a t-shirt, either make a paypal payment to vagabondsong@gmail.com or click on the button below.
