Planning Journalism Mission for Turkey
I am sitting in Istanbul going crazy out of my mind with emails, finding contacts, making contacts, and writing stories. To up my travel funds I need to write for The Man: I need to publish outside of the internet format. I have four articles planned to complete in Turkey.
Two are on archaeology, one on a long distance motorcycle traveler, and the last is on meerschaum pipe production.

One article has been completed and sent off to potential publishers. I have gained the go ahead to do one of the archaeology stories, which I will do at the end of March. For the other two stories, contacts are still being made.
I will continue to go crazy out of my mind for the next week in Istanbul. Then it is time to don the smirk of the journalist and drop the puck.
