Penang has it all:
Excellent weather;
Traditional culture;
Modern whatever-you-want.
This is a place of historic buildings, superimposed layers of culture, and beaches, as well as modern infrastructure which allows me to work seamlessly. It has everything that’s required in a base of operations, and it’s definitely in my top five.
I spent two months here at the end of last year and then I recently went back for two weeks after a month in Thailand.
