Ghost Cities of China makes the list.
This is cool. Ghost Cities of China was named as one of the best 30 books to understand modern China by What’s On Weibo.
What’s On Weibo is one of the go-to sites to follow popular trends in China, so this is really an honor.
I also have to say that I feel a little humbled here, as many of the other books on this list are truly very, very good and are written by some of the preeminent authors currently working on China.
I’m just some guy who travels too much.
