Loneliness and Travel

Do you ever feel lonely traveling by yourself? Do you have a significant other?

Yes, sometimes I get lonely while traveling on my own. But loneliness is not the worse thing in the world. When traveling there are plenty of options for experiencing many other feelings and you know that there is always a chance that you will meet someone around the next bend who will stomp out any feelings of loneliness that you may have.

When I feel lonely I just start talking to someone. It is easy when traveling to find people to talk to. Most often, the people who live in the places where you wander are just as interested in you as you are in them.

Loneliness and Travel

When I feel lonely I just start talking to someone. It is easy when traveling to find people to talk to. Most often, the people who live in the places where you wander are just as interested in you as you are in them. So it works out.

But feeling the occasional bought of loneliness is normal and is necessary for being an emotionally balanced human. People need to feel the complete kaleidoscope of feelings to stay healthy. A little loneliness here and there is good, as it really provides you with the opportunity for introspection.

I do not chase off loneliness as soon as the feeling rears  its head, rather, I try to cultivate it and enjoy it. It is only when this feeling becomes imbalanced that I try to even it out with another feeling.

To answer your second question, yes, I do have a significant other and she travels with me. We are getting married this June and having a child in August.
