The Juan Curi Waterfalls are located about a half hour from the town of San Gil in the state of Santander, Colombia. To reach the waterfalls you can take a minibus from the local bus station in San Gil off of Calle 10. Ask the driver to let you off at las cascadas, waterfall in Spanish. The property owners will charge you 4,000 to 6,000 Colombian pesos to hike on the well maintained 20 minute trail up to the waterfall. The waterfall is an amazing 180m. It is nice to relax on the rocks or in the water. If you would like you can also rappel down the face of the waterfall. This is best set up beforehand.
