Hello Rich,
Yeah, I was taken in by the anthropology pretty early on. I started out with archaeology, and worked about 8 field seasons. But my degree is in cultural anthro . . . . well, I suppose technically my concentration is in Ethnographic journalism, which is just more or less applied ethnography for the purpose of writing articles.
Anthropologist Taking Field Notes
At some point I hope to work on a full scale and proper ethnographic project . . . perhaps this autumn I will start in El Salvador.
How about you? You are in Oman, correct? How did you end up there? Are you an anthropologist?
Yeah, that guy at the hotel in Eilat was the spitting image of a mafia boss . . . it is interesting that you half way confirmed these suspicions. How were you rifted?
Thanks for writing.
Walk Slow,
Wade

Original question about anthropology
I noticed that you are interested in Anthropology. What field are you interested in? By the way, I had been to Eliat also and got rifted by the mafia.
Rich
