One of the main things that VagabondJouney.com was lacking was a single “point” page where a visitor could visit and see what was going on all over the site.
This website is massive, it has over 8,000 pages in ten sections.
It became clear to me that I needed to make the homepage pull up automatic updates from across the site as a whole. I have done this now.
Visit the new Vagabond Journey Travel Homepage
It seems to me as if readers do not make it a habit to check the homepage or to navigate through the site beyond my travelogue, but there is a lot going on here. 80% of my webmaster work goes towards other parts of the site than the travelogue.
Now I have a single page that shows what is going on site wide, please visit the new Vagabond Journey Travel Homepage, and perhaps make it your point of entry into the site.
Thanks,
Wade

Great job Wade. It’s very focused and easy to navigate. I can’t imagine how long it took to consolidate everything!
I like how the Travel Help section is near the top. I don’t know what your stats are but I bet just as many people are looking for advice on traveling just as much as they want to know what’s going on by reading the Travelogue.
