    hey.

    Quite interesting that neither of you have been to the german speaking world… No Germany, no Austria or Switzerland.

    would think that would be a prime destination for Western Europe.

    Impressive list!!!

    I agree with dj and HO – Germany, Austria and Switzerland are great countries to be visited. In Latin America I would recommend Brazil – there are so much to see there.

    I would love to visit Germany some day, but the fact is that we travel on an incredibly tight budget of around 25 USD a day. So that region is out of the question without a bicycle and tent, and, as my daughter is too small to ride a bike, that part of Europe is going to be visited later.

    Just wondering…..is it hard to be away from your families so much? I would want to be home more after having a child.

      A little, but I am pretty use to it at this point. I have my wife and daughter with me, but the family ties to pull tight a little bit sometimes: my wife would really like to be home a little more. But, as with all lifestyles, there are advantages and draw backs. Being away from my family is probably the worst thing about traveling.
