Backpack Journalism, the featured stories section of Vagabond Journey.com is now open to accept outside submissions.
Russ Slater from On the Road to Find Out became the site’s first outside contributor with an article about WWOOFing in Argentina.
It is a story about the agricultural roots of Argentina and how they have been interwoven with biodynamic and organic farming methods.
If any other independent journalists would like to contribute feature stories, articles, or photos to Vagabond Journey eMagazine, we would love to have them. Email Wade for more information.
It would be good to have more people babbling on Vagabond Journey other than just myself. So the site is now open to new ideas, outside impressions, and to a variety of approaches about traveling the world, inside and out. If you have written a story about traveling that is too crude, misshapen, immoral, disgusting, askance, interesting, opinionated, or otherwise unpublishable, we would love to have it.
On this road, I am pleased to announce that another blogger is now working on her own site within the frame of the Vagabond Journey eMagazine. Her name is Amanda K, and she has been a long time reader, emailer, and friend.
Amanda on Vagabond Journey
Amanda is a photographer and is just finishing up university in Louisiana before she begins a “never go home” type of journey around the world. I hope writing about her experiences as a traveling photographer on this site will get her some exposure and work.
I really look forward to what she publishes on this site, as her photographs are really very good, and, from getting to know her throughout the years, I know that she will make good on her dream to “just travel around the world taking pictures.”
I wish her the best.
If anyone else would like to contribute content or write for Vagabond Journey.com, please get in touch.
Thanks.
Walk Slow,
Wade
