Are there travel scholarships for photographers?
Hello,
I do not know of any scholarships that could help you out with this.
For most travel scholarships you need to be a part of an accredited
university program to be eligible. You may be better off trying to get
work your way up the photographer ranks the conventional way. By all
means don( give up on your dream, but I do not know of any foundations
who are giving away travel scholarships to unaffiliated photographers.
Hope this helps. Thank you for reading Vagabond Journey.
Thanks,
Wade

Original question about travel scholarships
dear sir,my name is sameer … and im from mumbai, maharashtra, india.
i have been born and brought up in mumbai and im 24 years old now.i have completed my high school i.e. 10+2 and could not study further as the course did not attract nor would have helped me.i was a commerce student and was totally inclined towards photography.so i decided to quit collage and started off with shooting nature and landscapes.i met a couple of photographers from our film industry and have been assisting a glamour photographer and freelancing now for two and a half years.i have travelled in my country to shoot places but cant really afford it all the time because of monetary problems.
sir,i wish to travel to central europe and the balkan regions as it is historically rich and the places and culture also has a vast range of plains and forests that interest me as a wild life and travel photographer.i came across vagabondjourney and was thrilled.
i just wanted to know if with a plan like this(i have it maped and detailed),will i get a travel scholarship?and who do i look forward to for applying for a scholarship?please if you can help me out with this.i keen and curious to travel and would appreciate if you can help me clear my doubts.
thank you sir,
sameer
