Visit Central Park

There is even a zoo in the park which is worth a visit, and if you visit at the right time, you may also be able to take in a bit of Shakespeare in the park for free.
Climb the Empire State Building
The 103 story building has some of the best views that you will find anywhere in the world. From the open-air observatory on the 86th floor, you can see amazing views of the Hudson, and East rivers, the Brooklyn Bridge. You can view the entire expanse of Central Park from the 102nd floor.
Visit Brooklyn Heights
One of the most photogenic areas of New York, the brownstones of Brooklyn Heights will remind you of so many famous movies. The tree-lined streets are picture-perfect, and just taking in the atmosphere is worth the trip out there. While you’re there, you may want to take a walk down Brooklyn Parade, a paved stretch along the East River which offers some of the most iconic views of the New York Skyline.
Go And Watch The Yankees Play
There is probably no experience that is more quintessentially New York than visiting the Yankee stadium to watch a ball game. Even if you are not a big fan of baseball, it’s probably worth going for the electric atmosphere and the snacks alone.
Take A Trip On The Staten Island Ferry
You can take a trip out on the free ferry that goes from Manhattan to Staten Island. You can see some of the best views of the statue of liberty on the route, and you can even enjoy a relaxing drink while you do so.
