These are photographs of the fruit and vegetable market in Antigua Guatemala that I took during the spring of 2008 of dirty floors, rotten vegetables, sacks of dehydrated anchovies, peppers, and millet, and mangoes cut up and packaged in bags.

Sloppy floor of market in Antigua Guatemala. The floors of markets look the same as this all over the world.

Fruits for sale at the market.

Mangoes are often cut up an put into bags so that people can just buy them and eat right away. A good idea, as I do not assume that most market goers are carrying knives to remove the mango peels.
