Palau is made up of a chain of 200 islands in the South Pacific. If you’re into sustainable development, eco-tourism, or conservation there are various volunteer opportunities available.

The Micronesia Conservation Trust has a variety of biodiversity conservation programs running in Palau.

Australian Volunteers International also sometimes have offerings in Palau.

If you’re from the USA the Peace Corps is probably the way to go to get involved in a long term volunteer project in Palau.
