Travelogue Now Published with Wordpress

I began publishing the Vagabond Journey Travelogue through Wordpress.

Everything that was previously published will stay right where it is — unchanged — the only thing that is different is that the index page and all new entries will be done through the Wordpress blogging system rather than Blogger.

To view the most recent travelogue entries go to:

http://www.vagabondjourney.com/travelogue/blogger.html

This will allow you to access the old index page and read the 20 most recent entries. I reccommend that readers who have not visited in a few days to do this (then you can find out how I got married).

After much good consultation and thought, I figured that this would be the best way to go through the “migration.”

Though I suppose this move is more like giving someone the slip in the middle of the night rather than migrating anywhere.

The navigational structure will remain the same, only Wordpress will pick up where Blogger left off.

There will be a few hour delay as I get everything in proper working order, so go to http://www.vagabondjourney.com/travelogue/blogger.html and you can view the travelogue as you normally would.

This is a move for the future. Simply put, Blogger is too clunky to run a professional blog off of.

As always, I welcome all feedback, advice, and suggestions.

Thank you.

Walk Slow,

Wade
