The Sunday Travel Story is a new feature on VagabondJourney.com that consists of a weekly summation of my recent travels told in a long drawn linear narrative. They are meant to have more of a book-like style of writing than what is customarily published on this travel blog, and each of the recent stories have been topping the 6,000 word mark. Why I like this type of writing is because it allows me to explore ideas and experiences that don’t really fit the blogging format and also, simply put, they’re fun to write. The challenging part is that these stories sometimes take over a week to produce. I probably publish more words per week than any other travel blogger out there, but doing a 6,000+ word piece at the end of a week of 1 – 3 daily articles truly takes the piss out of me. While I’ll continue to publish a long Sunday travel narrative weekly, on some instances I may break the articles up a little and publish as many as I possible can rather than breaking myself apart trying to write, edit, format, and publish a Goliath of a story before Western readers wake up and brew their morning coffee.  So think of the Sunday travel story as a collection of interconnected travel narratives to be published throughout the day. Thanks.
