Q: How to make webpages easily?

A:

Hello Gary,

Thanks for the mail. Good move going and living and traveling in a van — they can be great homes, can lower your living expenses drastically, enforces simplistic living, and, of course, are mobile. Good on ya.

About making webpages, I recommend using the WordPress system. The software can be uploaded to your own server, and the coding can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. You have access to all of the code, but you don’t have to touch it if you don’t want to. Also, WordPress can be used for a blog type site or as a system to make just about any style site.

In these ways, WordPress seems to work great as a tool for beginners as well as advance users. There is also a lot of literature as to how to learn how to use it — just go to any book store and their will be piles of WordPress related books.

Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Original question about making webpages

I’m new to your page, but it is great!
I’m getting ready to go homeless in my van. I’m familiar with computers and have toyed with HTML, but I need to learn how to do web pages without going to computer science school.
Can you advise me as to how to learn quickly. I’m a pretty quick learner!

Thanks ao much, You look to have a wonderful life and family and I’m jealous! :-).
