Letter to the Editor – Dirty Pierre’s Crazy Bio

<- – This is a letter to the editor that I received from Dirty Pierre, a long term world traveling comedian, that he wrote to provide me with a better idea of who he is and what I am dealing with! – ->

I am a 60 yr old stand up comedian travelling the world for the last 29 years performing in Europe and Australia. My largest show is an annual one where the attendance is over 45,000.

I used to have a television showin Spain, would you believe running a wet tshirt contest, the Spanish love their tits!

The money I make with merchandise which I design myself as I am also an artist, is used to build hospitals, schools and orphanages in Asia.

I live, when back in Australia, in a ’76 VW kombivan camper, so yes I am a bit of an excentric to say the least.
I love travelling by myself and getting totally lost in strange villages and relying on my wits to get me safely home.

Its amazing how far a smile will get you.

I might add I have had some close calls, I have been bombed twice by Muslim separatists and survived.

The photo of me with the tank was the day of the military coup in Bangkok. Note I was wearing my “Terrorists Fuck ’em!” tanktop at the time.

I love where your heads at and have enjoyed reading your travelogues.

F’cking A, man, it seems as if you live one hell of a life. Yes, playing the “get lost game” on a global scale is the best occupation I think a person can have!

Man, it seems as if you have real good story that you are riding on top of. Would you mind if I did some interviews with you and wrote a little piece about your travels, comedy shows, and being bombed?

That would be really awesome. I don’t know the last time I had a friend that did a Spanish wet t-shirt television program hah!

Anyway, how can I go about getting one of those tank tops?
