Attachment disorder is a broad term to describe a child’s inability to form attachments to their caregivers which can lead to other psychological and behavioral problems later in life. This disorder generally happens between the ages of 6 months to 3 years and often involves serial changes in primary caregivers between these ages. Generally, negligent care giving or many abrupt changes in caregivers is one of the main causes.
