Vagabond
Journey.com is the work of the perpetual traveler, Wade Shepard. For
over 9 years Wade has been traveling the world - through over 40
countries on five continents. He possesses a B.A. degree in Ethnographic
Journalism and Global Studies from Global College, Long Island
University, which was completed in China, India, Morocco, Central
America, and Japan. Vagabond Journey.com began in 2005 as a regular travel blog and has thus grown to include and entire database of travel information, stories, travel tips, magazine articles, travel gear and equipment reviews, book reviews, stories, and thousands of photographs. There are over three thousand pages on Vagabond Journey.com, and the number grows as each day goes by, as Wade continues to travel the world. The future of the site is looking up, as content, as well as visitors, are increasing daily.
Wade is currently venturing into print media and has published articles from his travels in National Geographic Glimpse Magazine, Abroad View Magazine, and wrote four articles for Cafe Abroad InPrint as well as serving as their copy editor for 2008. He has also published in Today's Zaman (Turkey).
The travels of Vagabond Journey.com are funded primarily through money
earned by writing magazine articles, working as an archaeologists (Wade's
previous profession), reader contributions, and through advertisements
for relevant travel websites and companies.Vagabond Journey.com accepts many forms of advertising, which are designed to drive traffic to your website and sales for your company. While nice looking, banner and graphic ads are preferred, the site also accepts other forms of advertising to fit your company's needs.
