The following photographs were taken in Antigua, Guatemala in the spring of 2008. They are of the city's main square, a shuttle bus time table and prices, a travel agent at the Universal agency, a grocery store, the ruins of a colonial church, and a home-made race car.

The outside of the Universal Travel Agency in Antigua, Guatemala. It is difficult to find a good travel agent in tourist towns, but I can recommend their service.

Antigua Guatemala is a comfortable place to stop for a while if you are traveling in Central America. There are comfortable guesthouses with good internet - if you need such things - tons of travel agencies, a few cheap restaurants, and lots of expensive bars. There are also an abundance of colonial ruins that seem to still sit just as the Spanish left them.
